What Comes from an Egg?- a fun clay and fire class for 11-15 year olds

Birds, reptiles, platypus, frogs and turtles and dinosaurs come from eggs!  What about bunnies?  It is all in the imagination of the artist!   You’ll sculpt the animal of your choice, decorate with colored slips and then make a papier-mâché  ‘egg’ which we will put in a special firing in the gas kiln.  Then, hot from the kiln, we’ll crack open our creations to see how the fire has changed our animals.  This will be a fun and kinetic creative class.  Bring your imagination and dress to mess.
