Registrations for Fall Quarter will begin at 8am on July 21. Fall quarter dates are August 29- November 9, with Labor Day weekend off.. Class descriptions will be posted in early July..
We'll start the class by throwing pots that will go from being round to altered using a variety of methods: stretching, shaping, faceting, adding, reducing, etc. You'll learn alterations both on and off the wheel that will inform new shapes and create pieces for serving, drinking, pouring, or for non-functional intent. The spirit of this class will be to foster experimentation and thinking outside the box. This class is intended for intermediate students with previous wheel experience with the focus of further developing their work. The possibilities are endless!
