Copycat- a class for learning from the past- a fun clay and fire class for 11-15 year olds

Potters have always used the pots of previous generations and other cultures for inspiration.  They improvise, paying attention to detail and form and riff off of those ideas.   We’ll use historical examples from books and from old pottery to inspire and excite us.  Mostly, this will be a handbuilding class, but everyone will get to try out the wheel in this ten-week class. Dress to mess.
