Advanced Beginner Ceramics: Intentional Abstract with Ling Chun

This class is for advanced beginners with some ceramics experience who want to focus on sculptural elements and refresh their knowledge. Working with a low-fire clay body, half of the class will cover slab and coil building techniques to create abstract sculptures. The other half will explore various surface design techniques, including decorative slip and creative use of oxide stains. Students will enhance their skills through hands-on projects, fostering both technical proficiency and artistic expression.
