Clay & Color: Experimental Glazing & Surface Treatments with low-fire clay Ling Chun

This class will start one week later than all the other classes and is only 9 weeks long. 4/1-5/27  (please note the start date)
Level: Advanced-Beginner (some clay experience recommended)
Explore low-fire ceramics with glaze layering, oxide stains, underglazes, and marbled clay bodies to create unique surfaces. Learn color theory in ceramics, experiment with low-fire studio glazes, and develop a personal glaze palette. This hands-on class focuses on texture, depth, and glaze interactions, helping students refine their surface design skills.
